BACK FROM SIBERIA, and we have amazing things we want to report to you from this recent adventure! As you know, Heart For The World has operated with our theme, "Inspiring Love in the Home & Revival in the Church" for many years. And this vision statement continues to become a reality everywhere we go.

Even upon returning from Siberia, we immediately went to Pennsylvania where, once again, we saw this double-barrelled message hit home. So many marriages and families need a touch from God... and this is exactly what we saw.

The Holy Spirit did a work far beyond ourselves. It thrilled us again to see dozens of people at the altar praying for revival in their families and community, as we so often do. Those of you who continue to support Heart For The World  by your generous gifts enable these opportunities to take place and keep us going.

While on our Siberia trip we saw over 1200 Buryatian adults and young people, most from Buddhist backgrounds, accept Christ. Without the help of many who partner with us on an ongoing basis this outreach would’ve been impossible!

Though we’ve been in dozens of countries in over 20 years of full-time ministry, we’ve never had opposition like we had during this outreach. About a week into our trip, we began to experience threats of deportation and limited mobility from the local militia in Ulan-Ude (a city just north of Mongolia).

Heavy fines were placed on our team of 30 wonderful Christian students and teachers. Boldly, our co-leaders from Denver and the pastors and translators joining our team rose together with wisdom, humility, and unity, exemplifying the love of Jesus!

In spite of repeated threats, the ministry outreaches continued. We ended up seeing a record-breaking number of decisions for Christ in this generally untouched territory... Adults and young people raced to the platform at the end of each concert and presentation of the gospel to get their copy of the thousands of Bibles and Gospel tracts in the Russian language that the team gave out. They eagerly responded to the love of God, committing their lives to Jesus.

One village requested we stay and teach them more about Jesus! So we stayed and taught for as long as we could until our next scheduled outreach.

Two villages we visited opened their "Cultural Palace" to hold future weekly church meetings so they could learn more about Jesus... so churches were planted and some villages have ongoing Bible teaching now by area pastors and missionaries in this new territory!  Several young people have committed and applied to go to St. James Bible College in Kiev Ukraine under the encouraging leadership of ministers in the Ulan Ude region!

Wow!  This is the body of Christ really working together to "go into all nations" preaching and making disciples!

Tears filled their eyes as we promised the Christians in Ulan-Ude that we would encourage Americans to pray for them as they struggle to grow in this region steeped in Buddhism, witchcraft, and Communism!  Please add these Christians to your prayer lists as they undergo continual spiritual battles in this territory!
