Harvest Time in Peru!

Our May 1999 missions tour to Peru was incredible! We saw 1000’s of people saved, marriages restored, dramatic healings and deliverance in our family crusades.

And, thanks to your help, we were able to donate a number of laptop computers, a full sound system, and money and supplies to an orphanage located in central Peru. We thank God for your gifts to “Heart for the World” that made this possible.

Each night 1000’s of Peruvians packed into this stadium in Lima where we ministered with Marilyn Hickey. Over 3 nights, 1000’s came forward for salvation and ministry. Many were healed & delivered as well.

Every church we ministered in responded with many decisions for Christ. The non-believers are coming to the church for hope. They are truly in a time of revival as we saw scores get saved through our church concerts.

We visited 2 orphanages that the mission operates. We were able to give financially to them as well as bring the love of Jesus to abandoned children as Nicky sang with the boys about following Jesus. One little girl couldn’t stop singing the song after we were done... so we sang it a few more times and gave her the lyrics so she wouldn’t forget our visit.

What an honor it was to be a part of one of Marilyn Hickey’s world-wide crusades! We learned so much from her well-organized organization and were inspired by her faith and boldness in the Lord.

Poor little Travis fainted on the platform during our 2nd of 7 concerts and 3 crusades. One of the best Doctors in Lima came right to our motel room to hook him up to an I.V. since he couldn’t keep down liquids. We had to leave for Cusco, sitting at 11,500 feet above sea level. We were so glad the next morning at 6:30am, when the Doctor gave the okay to take him with us.

Many of these orphans were left for dead or kicked out on the street to fend for themselves. If these orphanages were not there, most of these children wouldn’t make it on the streets, and would certainly never know about the awesome love of Jesus!

This family got saved along with many others. Many gave testimonies of God healing them during the services. One man, a transvestite, came forward to get saved and repent from living as a woman.

Next Stop ... Siberia!

And the next stop on the 1999 tour is... Siberia! We are looking forward to going to this vast land July 24 through August 7.

The newly planted churches in Tyumen have planned to do street meetings and crusades to reach the lost. Our music will help to draw crowds of unbelievers to hear the message of hope of salvation and hope for their families.

We still have most of our finances to raise, and we’d really like to bless the people there, in addition, with some items that might be difficult or impossible for them to get. Please note on your check to “Heart for the World” that this is for the Siberia outreach.

Hope you enjoy the pictures of our Peru Harvest Tour 1999. Thank you for your investment in “Heart for the World”. We are grateful for your partnership with us. Your servants for revival.
